Wepuko Pahnke Engineering and its engineers have been building and supplying forging press and manipulator controls for over 25 years. These extend from basic oil and water hydraulic press drive systems up to exceedingly complex press installations containing completely integrated twin manipulators, multi-position die magazines, ingot cars, upper and lower die slides etc.

Data Logging :

As part of the continuing requirement of our customers to enhance production reporting and also improve the performance and efficiency of complex hydraulic forging equipment, we have developed a fully integrated data-logging system. The system is capable of logging many separate channels of I/O which can be either digital /analogue signals or encoder / transducer positions (both absolute and incremental). We can also interpret the incoming data to supply monitor information such as forces and equipment states.

In addition to the monitoring system, we also incorporate the necessary software to view and interpret the resulting data and also port the information direct to the customer’s local area network.
